The Quality Control Specialist at Connexion Systems & Engineering provides technical and administrative support to Quality Control, Engineering, and Production. This role involves creating and managing quality acceptance test procedures, interacting with production and engineering to optimize documentation related to quality and inspection, and participating in qualification lab testing activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and monitor Quality Acceptance Test Procedures and Data Sheets.
  • Interact with Production and Engineering to optimize documentation related to quality and inspection checks.
  • Create Qualification Test Plans and Test Reports using customer specifications and other customer document flow downs, as necessary.
  • Participate in all qualification lab testing (On & Off-site) activities to confirm compliance results of functional Qualification test article. To document & implement any deviations to the customer requirements and to document all non-compliances.
  • Organize and participate in all Quality Material Review Board (MRB) meetings and to execute all Non-Conformances requiring Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis.
  • As necessary, participate with processing Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR’s) that are issued from the customer.
  • As necessary, assist Quality Control Mechanical Inspections with preparing First Article Inspection Reports (Full and Delta FAI).

Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to write and communicate in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • General ability to apply mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
  • General knowledge in using measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, gage blocks/pins, optical comparators, torque meters, and various electrical test equipment (preferred).
  • Some understanding of complex engineering drawings, knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (preferred).
  • Capable of using a computer and operating menu driven software.
