Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of automation solutions using PowerShell, Jinja, RPA, or RMM tools.
  • Streamline business operations, reduce repetitive tasks, and improve service delivery through effective automation.
  • Analyze existing processes across all departments while identifying areas for automation and improvement on a consultative basis for our customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
  • Develop and prioritize a list of automation tasks while ensuring alignment with Leadership and company objectives.
  • Ensure all automations are properly documented for both technical and non-technical resources to facilitate troubleshooting, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor and review automation failures, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform routine maintenance on automation solutions to ensure continued reliability and effectiveness.
  • Engage in technical training and personal development activities aligned with career goals and future positions within RAVEN Automation.
  • Maintain quarterly training plan with leadership to track progress and ensure goal achievement
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of service tickets in our PSA.
  • Ensure all time is entered into the PSA in real time to accurately capture the work performed, resolution achieved, and any next steps as applicable.
  • Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders through non-technical language.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Jinja
  • Familiarity and expertise with RMM, PSA, and RPA tools
  • Solid understanding of APIs, JSON, and integration of systems and applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Relevant Work Experience: 5+ Years

Hours: 8am-5pm M-F

Salary: $80,000-$120,000

Are you familiar with scripting, IT Management tools, and common IT systems (Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, desktop operating systems, and network infrastructure). Have you worked for a Managed Service Provider before? Are you looking for a systematic organization where problems are handled consistently, methodically, and in productive ways? We are looking for talented, motivated, and driven problem-solvers that understand IT automation. We work in the areas of IT scripting, systems automation, and RPA. Our focus is helping IT companies, IT departments solve the repetitive and mundane IT tasks they face with automation. We are looking for individuals who collaborate well with various departments, handle proactive monitoring, can troubleshoot automation workflows, have excellent communication skills (written and oral), and have a strong to desire to gain in knowledge and mastery.
