Job Title: Full-Time School Social Worker

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time School Social Worker to join our team in Highland Park, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff. This includes assessing student needs, developing and implementing intervention plans, and collaborating with educators to create a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students.
• Assess and address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
• Provide crisis intervention and support.
• Connect students and families with community resources and services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Michigan state licensure as a School Social Worker.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
