Position: School Social Worker(Contract position)
Location: Near Ansonia, Connecticut
Hours: Part time (Wednesdays and Thursdays), onsite
Dates: Full 2024-2025 school year
Pay Range: Hourly pensation rate based on education and experience

Job Details:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral issues
• Offer immediate support during crises
• Advocate for students rights and needs within the school system
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop strategies that support student success

Qualifications:

• Must have an MSW from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
• School Social Worker Certification (068)
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Must have reliable self-transportation
