Title: Remote Counselor/Therapist/ LCSW-C
Location: Remote
Shifts: 8:30AM-5:00PM
Duration: 3-month Contract (through 12/31/2024)
Hours: 40 hr/wk.
Pay Rate: $40.00/hr
An employer is looking for a Remote Counselor/Therapist to join their team in the Maryland area. This person will be handling calls from Emergency Department providers seeking authorization for Mental Health services for patients actively in the respective Emergency Department. They will also be handling level-of-care review for non-emergency cases originating from outpatient mental health facilities throughout Maryland. This means that this person must be comfortable with communication over the phone for a handling those authorizations – great personality is important! All candidates must have a master’s degree in a relevant field, hold an active LCPC or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland and have experience with the utilization review/authorization of services from a payer perspective.
