Cash Application Specialist

Company in NE Philadelphia is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist for a long-term engagement. This position is a possible temporary to full time opportunity for the right candidate. In this role you will pull remittances, investigate deductions, and follow up on disputes. This role requires someone who likes working with numbers, someone who is detailed in their work, and very reliable. Experience using AS400 and NetSuite is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be very good with numbers, there will be a lot of data entry and some tasks will be tedious. Excel skills are required; must be able to sum columns and subtotal columns and be comfortable learning more Excel. This position is a Hybrid work model - you will work on site Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week, and remotely Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. The hours for this role are 8:00am- 5:00pm. • Proficiency in Cash Applications
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Data Entry
• Familiarity with NetSuite and AS400 software
• Knowledge of Remittance procedures
• Understanding of Unauthorized Deductions
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills.
