  • Develop explanations and analysis for any variances in the account or budget.
  • Take responsibility for managing the accounting system, the Accounting Procedure Manual, and internal controls following GAAP.
  • Oversee the process of depreciable and amortizable asset accounting.
  • Assist in handling the organization's disbursement cycle, which includes areas such as accounts payable and payroll.

Qualifications

Required

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible, relevant experience.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a nonprofit organization is highly desirable.
