\nPOSITION SUMMARY
\n
\nDo you have previous Food & Beverage management experience? Does the thought of working at the top of a world-class ski mountain with Rocky Mountain views excite you? We are looking for a few exceptional service-minded people to join our team as a Restaurant Manager. Successful candidates will have at least two (2) years of supervisory and operations experience in a casual dining atmosphere, must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

\nESSENTIAL DUTIES
\nOversee all phases of outlet operations; understand and ensure compliance with all company policies & procedures and regulatory requirements
\nOversee all HR issues for FOH staff
\nOversee all staffing/scheduling requirements for outlet
\nCreate weekly labor/revenue forecasts
\nManage all staff payroll procedures
\nMaintain all beverage levels and manage ordering
\nImplement training program of service standards for all FOH servers
\nImplement training program for all beverage servers
\nPerform inventory of all alcohol products
\nClosely monitor guests dining experience
\nMaintain a strong presence on the floor
\nDevelop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues and average checks
\nMaintain impeccable cleanliness standards
\nDevelop daily shift meetings and strategies
\nClosely monitor opening and closing procedures
\nHire, train and motivate front of house service team
\nInspect buffet for full attractive product and quality
\nMake table visits to solicit guest feedback & recognize patronage
\nKnow and enforce policies and procedures
\nReconcile daily sales, compile reports, receipts and cash deposit
\nMonitor and document job performance of service staff
\nParticipate in weekly manager meetings
\nEnsure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements

\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
\nMust be minimum 18 years of age
\nWorks in all areas of building, office, indoors with long periods of standing, walking, occasional lifting
\nMust be lift 35 lbs and push and pull heavy items on a cart
\nThis position may include working around heat and cold in the kitchen
\nMust communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal
\nMust have a valid driver's license and meet insurability standards
\nOne year of casual service dining room supervision experience required
\nMust have Microsoft Office proficiency to include Excel, Word and Outlook
\nMust have good administrative and organizational skills
\nThorough understanding of restaurant operations and management techniques
\nComputer literacy including POS system competency and Time Keeping competency, preferred
\nFinancial responsibility, including able to read and understand budgets and P&L statements, preferred
\nAdhere to all safety policies
\nProblem solving in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers
\nBe a consistent role model for company's Service Excellence standards

\nThe base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives.

\nSteamboat area base salary range: $58,000 - $73,000 per year
\n
