The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Senior Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Applies basic quality principles to assigned processes and products.
• Actively participates in project planning. Establishes project objectives and priorities.
• Establishes and cultivates a network of resources (lab, manufacturing, engineering, sales, etc. to facilitate completion of assignments.
• Demonstrates ability to lead teams and projects.
• Willingness to be on-call, work split shift, or work off shifts as needed

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND five (5) or more years of related experience as a quality professional

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experience with basic quality systems such as Quality Manuals, ISO-9001 and ISO-13485, metrology, calibration, audits, etc.
• Experience with basic statistical tools such as data analysis, basic statistics, Gage R&R, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Statistical Process Control and Capability.
• Strong working knowledge of intermediate-level statistical and quality engineering tools such as acceptance sampling, correlation and regression.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in a physical, biological, chemical, mathematical, statistical, or engineering science from an accredited institution.
• Professional certification, such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) through American Society for Quality (ASQ), is preferred.
• Skills include… listening, reading, writing, speaking, persuading, influencing, interpersonal, and team leading as well as effective project management.

Work location:

• Onsite – Meriden, CT

Travel: Less than 10% [mostly within CT and other Solventum locations]

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
