  • Responsible for adherence to food safety requirements.
  • Overall administrative responsibility for the shift.
  • Accountable for shift production schedule, efficiency of plant, minimizing downtime and waste.
  • Reviews production/operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues.
  • Develops, recommends and implements changes in working conditions to improve employee performance and product quality.
  • Resolves workers issues and involve management if necessary.
  • Encourage a team environment with all employees.
  • Prepares and presents production data to the Production Manager.
  • Ensures that operator reporting is done in a timely manner.
  • Takes responsibility for all activities in the absence of Senior Management.
  • Ensures that all data collection is being captured by operators.

Oversee and direct production personnel, leads and the employees on the shift.
Responsible for adherence to food safety requirements pertaining to SQF, GMP and all other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations that applies.
Overall administrative responsibility for the shift (such as performance reviews, downtime tracking, disciplinary actions, etc.).
Accountable for shift production schedule, efficiency of plant, minimizing downtime and waste.
Reviews production/operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Develops, recommends and implements changes in working conditions to improve employee performance and product quality.
Resolves workers issues and involve management if necessary.
Encourage a team environment with all employees by showing them respect and valuing the opinion of employees.
Prepares and presents production data to the Production Manager.
Ensures that operator reporting is done in a timely manner.

Takes responsibility for all activities in the absence of Senior Management.

Ensures that all data collection is being captured by operators on the following categories: breakdowns, short stops, test time, defrost time, cleaning time, pieces per hour, etc.
Responsible for all aspects of the line, packaging and ensures that all lines are running to standard.
