About the OpportunityWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Resource Teacher to join our team. You will work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support the diverse learning needs of young children. You will work with students that range from infants to Prek-Kindergarten (Ages 2 months to 5 years old). As a Resource Teacher, you will step in to cover for regular teachers during their absences. You will ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for children, following the established curriculum and maintaining classroom routines. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of early childhood development and a commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.

Specific Responsibilities- Implement lesson plans provided by the classroom lead teacher and adapt as necessary to meet the needs of the children.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Follow all policies and procedures related to classroom management, health, and safety.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents as needed.
- Provide feedback to the classroom lead teacher regarding the children's progress and any significant events during their absence.
- Perform clerical duties and other duties as needed.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required.
Requirement
GED Required
Associates degree or ECE certification preferred
Early Childhood Experience preferred
Salary Range - $16 - $26 based on education and years of experience
