  • Welcome guests warmly, make eye contact, and answer their questions regarding the restaurant.
  • Keep guests entertained and engaged while waiting or in line.
  • Lead guests to a clean, perfectly set table and hand them the appropriate menu(s).
  • Maintain awareness of available tables and manage a party 'on deck' to be seated.
  • Communicate with servers and managers regarding table availability, seating of large parties, or special requests.
  • Handle guests' complaints by listening to their concerns and resolving issues to ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
  • Arrive to work on time, well-groomed in the proper work attire.
  • Complete all assigned tasks and duties.
  • Check the greeter area and its storage areas for adequate supplies.
  • Review potential wait times and plan seating arrangements with managers.
  • Assist fellow team members as needed.
  • Inspect restrooms, dining room, and lobby, clean as needed, and report any unsafe conditions.

Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions

Hospitality to our Guests

  • Understands our culture and does whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
  • Welcomes guests warmly by smiling and making eye contact as they enter the restaurant.
  • Answers guest questions regarding flow, food, beverages, restaurant, and the restaurants story.
  • Keeps guests entertained and engaged while waiting or in line.
  • Leads guests at their own pace to a clean, perfectly set table and hands the appropriate menu(s) to each guest after they are seated.
  • Maintains awareness of available tables in the dining area and always knows of a party 'on deck' to be seated.
  • Communicates with servers and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, or special requests so that guests enjoy a memorable experience.
  • Handles guests' complaints by listening to their concerns, always informing a manager, and resolving issues to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return to the restaurant again.
Hospitality to your Team

  • Arrives to work on time as scheduled, well-groomed in the proper work attire, and ready to work.
  • Clocks in and out as scheduled.
  • Demonstrates a helpful, positive attitude to guests and team members.
  • Completes all assigned tasks and duties assigned by managers/supervisors.
  • Checks the greeter area and its storage areas for adequate supplies (e.g., menus, business cards, pens/pencils, etc.) to ensure supplies are readily available.
  • Reviews potential wait times and works with managers to plan seating arrangements.
  • Assists fellow team members as needed to ensure our guests receive the highest standard of food, beverage, and hospitality.
  • Checks out with a manager before leaving at the end of each shift.
Hospitality to Restautant
  • Inspects restrooms, dining room, and lobby, cleans as needed, and reports any unsafe conditions to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
  • Monitors dining area tables to ensure they meet or exceed standards (e.g., proper table set up, full napkin dispensers, swept floors under tables, etc.).
Minimum Requirements
