We believe that children should begin their relationship with God from the beginning. Evangelical Christian teaching will be part of the children’s daily curriculum. We will accomplish all this through a well-educated and certified staff, carefully developed comprehensive programming, and above all, through love and acceptance.

Duties

We are looking for a childcare teacher! We will train the right candidate, but experience is preferred. Pay starts at $13.00 per hour based on experience.
Duties include:

• Assist the lead teacher in all classroom needs while modeling Christian behavior.
• Maintain daily open communication with parents when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality, as well as accurate records, forms, and files.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and organized environment in the classroom and center.

Requirements

**DESIRED** QUALIFICATIONS:
**Not required to be hired!**

• Meets or exceeds the qualifications for a Lead Teacher with Infant and Toddler Training
• SIDS and AHT trainings completed
• CPR/AED/First Aid training
• Can develop and implement appropriate curriculum to foster the love of learning
• Has the physical ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
• Has previous experience in the early childcare field
• Positive role model

OUR PHILOSOPHY

OUR HISTORY

Crossroads Kids Connection was formed as a ministry of the Crossroads Community Church in 2007. After doing a local survey of the community needs, the church's founding pastors, Jim and Aileen Playter sought to provide childcare for the families of Johnson Creek and the surrounding areas in a severely underserved market.

Since then, we have been privileged to serve more than 100 families from Jefferson, Dodge, Dane, and Waukesha counties.We started out as a class of 5 children at our first campus on River Dr. and have since grown to 6 classrooms at our new facility in the old high school.

Since 2007, we have provided all of our children with opportunities for learning, growth, and love.We have worked in conjunction with the local school district to prepare our preschoolers for 4K and Kindergarten. We have also provided 4K classroom space for the school district. We've been involved in community activities such as the community Christmas tree lighting and face painting at the summer festivals. Our staff and children enjoy being highly involved in the community.

As we look towards the future, we are excited to continue our partnership with our community and the school district to provide quality care for the children in our community and surrounding areas for years to come.
