  • Communication with production, planning, quality, and engineering to arrange maintenance activities and to update status on repairs to equipment
  • Perform some facility maintenance around the building

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree (GED) required
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Computer software proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work from sketches, drawings, and blueprints
  • Ability to use test and measurement equipment for flow, pressure, current, voltage, and dimensional analysis
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work independently
  • Must be United States citizen, lawful permanent resident or otherwise eligible to work in the United States

Preferred

  • Technical degree
  • A minimum of five years of experience performing or assisting skilled trade workers in the mechanical or electrical trades
  • Knowledge of PLC control and simple control circuitry, with the ability to revise and maintain such systems
  • License/training to operate forklift truck & crane

The Maintenance Technicianwill get the opportunity to ensure the facility and equipment remains operational to support daily production volumes. In addition, they will be able to help shape a comprehensive preventative and routine maintenance program to prevent unexpected downtime.
