Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with a strong background in trades.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management and/or equivalent experience
  • 3+ Years of progressively responsible field operations experience in general contracting environment, including, at a minimum, verifiable experience managing projects over $5M.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, multitasking, and goal orientation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and financial impacts effectively.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and understanding of MEP systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred

  • CPR/First Aid and OSHA certifications required within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Additional industry credentials (e.g., Maryland Environmental Green Card, EM-385, CQM, LEED) are a plus.

The Assistant Superintendent is primarily responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site construction activities. Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle materials up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions including noise, dust, and semi-enclosed spaces.

  • Construction job sites with exposure to extreme conditions and loud noise levels.
