Power-Flo Technologies Inc is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Technician to assist in manufacturing, assembling, installing, and repairing custom power distribution equipment for emergency generator applications. Responsibilities

  • Assist in manufacturing, assembling, installing, and repairing of custom equipment based on project specifications.
  • Cutting, punching, installing all material supports & components required, including but not limited to steel brackets & supports, copper buswork, small/medium/large gauge cable, etc.
  • Enclosure modifications, including but not limited to cutting, punching, or otherwise altering enclosures
  • Component assembly, including camboards, switchboards, and other components for enclosures
  • Material handling & transportation, including loading/offloading shipments & maneuvering material/enclosures around the warehouse & shop
  • Performing repairs to equipment as needed.
  • Field service & installations, in which we deliver and install new equipment, or modify/repair existing equipment for our customers.
  • Cleaning & organization of the shop & warehouse on a regular basis

Qualifications

Required

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid and clean driver’s license
  • Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery
  • Ability to work independently while in a team environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs

Preferred

We are Axis Control Group (a Power-Flo Technologies company), a power distribution OEM that manufactures custom power distribution equipment for emergency generator applications, along with providing field service & installation capabilities for our customers. We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in a unique field of manufacturing & electrical/mechanical operation to help us provide the highest quality of equipment & service to our customers.

Technician Primary Responsibilities :

  • Assist in manufacturing, assembling, installing, and repairing of custom equipment based on project specifications.

Technician Qualifications and Requirements:

Working Conditions/Environment:

  • We are a typical metal shop & warehouse, so noise from operating machinery, hand/power tools & forklifts is to be expected
  • Relatively relaxed & low-pressure environment is standard, as projects normally take days to weeks to manufacture; daily quotas typically do not apply, unless extenuating circumstances occur
  • Regular exposure to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
