  • Assist in activities to start up and shut down a line as necessary.
  • Assist with coverage in the absence of another General Laborer.
  • Ability to work additional hours or beyond standard schedule with little or no notice.
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain workflow or respond to production requirements.
  • Understand and commit to the Lean Initiative.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Required to take a drug screen during the hiring process.
  • Experience in Food Service and/or Manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Active awareness of all safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that involves repetitive movement, moderate to loud noise levels, and wet, humid, and cold conditions under various temperatures ranging from 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Good hand eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for at least an 8-12 hour period; lift, carry, handle and grasp at least 35-50 lbs; push and pull a wheeled pallet jack or rack to move items weighing up to 400 lbs.

This is a full-time position (not temp).
