Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years as a Diagnostic Field Service Engineer/Technician in the automotive industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive diagnostic systems and equipment, particularly for Class 4, 5, and 6 vehicles.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software
  • Experience with predictive maintenance software (e.g. predictive analytics, condition monitoring)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Bollinger Motors is seeking a Diagnostic Field Engineer to provide on-site diagnostic support, maintenance, and repair services for our automotive products and systems, with a particular focus on Class 4, 5, and 6 vehicles. This position reports to the Service Director. This is a remote position overseeing the Eastern United States.
