  • Design source documents and forms to facilitate accurate data collection and recordkeeping
  • Conduct in-service programs and summarize study schedules to assist in understanding and implementing a protocol
  • Schedule patient visits and laboratory and diagnostic test procedures
  • Coordinate drug shipments, storage, and accountability
  • Review trends, problems encountered, patient adverse events, and patient progress

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience performing phlebotomy with patients in a clinic or hospital setting
  • Familiar with e-source reporting via an electronic platform
  • Understanding of ICH, FDA, and GCP regulations
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ethical compass that compels honesty, detail-oriented, and self-driven
  • High-level critical thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and lab collection/processing/storage procedures
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite

We are actively hiring for a Clinical Research Assistant opportunity at the Flourish Research site in Charlotte, NC. This site, founded as Alzheimer's Memory Center, has been contributing to medical breakthroughs in Alzheimer's research and treatment for more than 20 years!

The Clinical Research Assistant supports the Investigators in executing Phase I, II, III, and IV clinical research trials in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FDA and GCP guidelines, and study protocols while providing an impeccable patient experience in every, single interaction.

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5 PM & Friday, 8 AM - 12 PM
Compensation: Hourly Rate based on experience + discretionary quarterly bonus eligibility

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the Principal Investigator, research team, Study Sponsor/CROs, potential subjects, and referral sources
  • An ethical compass that compels the candidate to be honest, detail-oriented, and self-driven
  • High-level critical thinking skills
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and lab collection/processing/storage procedures
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
