If you provide personal care for a family member you live with, and they qualify for Indiana Medicaid, you may be able to get paid to take care of them.

How it works:

Patient:

  • Has Indiana Medicaid
  • Lives in Indiana
  • Needs help with day-to-day activities
  • Able to direct your own care/services (If not, have an individual representative to appoint)
  • Meets the Indiana Aged and Disabled Waiver requirements

Caregiver:

  • Must be at least at 18 years of age
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Not exclude to work for any Medicaid or Medicare Provider
  • Does not have a Felony in the last 10 years
  • Able to pass a urine drug screen

* The Caregiver may be a non-family member or a family member who is able to provide the care in the patients home.
