  • Clean driving record for at least the past 3 years.
  • Great customer service/communication skills.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission truck.

Stepp's Towing & Heavy Transport is looking for Fleet Diesel Mechanics (Preventive Maintenance Techs to full-fledged fleet Diesel Mechanics) to add to our team. We are seeking candidates who possess a positive attitude, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Description:

  • Perform maintenance, run diagnostics, and repair diesel vehicles.
  • Checking malfunctions on engines, transmissions, clutches, suspension, steering, and more.
  • Inspect heavy trucks, buses, and other equipment to ensure they can operate safely
  • Document issues and the steps taken to correct them.
  • In charge of routine maintenance, such as aligning wheels and changing the oil.
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly.


Qualifications:

  • Must have prior Fleet Diesel Mechanical experience.
  • Must have a valid drivers' license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check /drug test.
  • Must have a Clean Driving Record for at least the past 3 years.
  • Possess great Customer Service/Communication Skills
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission truck.


Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday (7am-5 pm)
