  • Collect all necessary HIPAA documents.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA compliance, privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Complete registration sheets and makes copies of medical documentation provided.
  • Complete medical triage health screening form via CARES when needed.
  • Assist providers during assessments and/or treatments as needed, including translating.
  • Maintain Quality Control logs daily and perform relevant monthly QC duties.
  • Follow strict infection control guidelines to ensure proper clinic environment.
  • Submit requests for necessary supplies, medications, and equipment to the PATH Director.

Qualifications

Required

  • Current New York State Medical Assistant certificate
  • Appropriate certification in first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Some experience in the medical profession

Preferred

  • Ability to speak Spanish
