JOB DESCRIPTION

Bathhouse is looking for an attentive, organized, hands-on, detail-oriented Attendant to join the Bathhouse Team at our Williamsburg, Brooklyn location.

One of the roles is to keep our pool, sauna, and locker room areas clean and maintained throughout the day and evening. This role consists of attending to a core set of responsibilities in an efficient manner and may be adjusted as Bathhouse needs change. The Attendant reports to the Shift Supervisor.

This role will be an integral part of the team, responsible for providing high-quality service to Bathhouse guests by maintaining a clean and organized environment for guests to relax and appreciate the Baths.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicating with our customers in-person
• Focus on women/men's locker rooms and may have some duties in public spaces and reception areas. Monitor and maintain cleanliness. Organize, and restock towels and slippers and address/correct issues throughout, including but not limited to collecting and depositing laundry for washing, collecting and depositing slippers for washing, collecting and depositing cups, and cleaning vacant lockers.
• Check and restock personal care products (soaps, lotions, napkins, toilet paper and miscellaneous supplies) in locker rooms and supply closets on a routine in relation to occupancy (many customers=busy=increased attention to products).
• Organize and maintain dispensary, supply ("mop") closets, and laundry room. Inventory materials (such as cleaning supplies, laundry soap, and amenities such as q-tips and combs).
• Organize and maintain the refuse and trash room. Remove full bags from all points throughout the building and replace them with new bags, break down and tie cardboard, and place them neatly in the trash room.

DESIRED SKILLS

• High School diploma or relevant qualification required.
• 6 – 12 months of Attendant experience preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule which may sometimes include mornings, nights and weekends.
• Willingness to get certified in Adult CPR and First Aid training
• Must be reliable and professional. The attendance policy is strictly observed.
• Solid verbal communication skills.
• Prepared to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and be a team player.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in a rigorous, fast-paced work environment.
• Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Job Type: Full-time. This position is in demand seven days a week, with shifts from 8 am-4 pm and 4 pm-12 am.
• Pay: $16.00- $22.00 /hour DOE
• Health Insurance eligible.
