  • Deliver scheduled financial statements and provide coaching to improve financial stability and achieve organizational missions, including guidance on grant compliance and reporting.
  • Discuss monthly financial statements, plans, and schedules with clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders, offering world-class customer service and expertise in nonprofit grant accounting.
  • Identify and engage with clients to deliver the right resources and solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to solve issues related to complex financial statements, monitor finances within grant guidelines, and provide financial analysis and advice on grant utilization and compliance.
  • Provide best practices by leveraging different functions within Quatrro to help clients improve business execution.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an accounting focus.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including 4+ years in the nonprofit sector.
  • Proven expertise in grants accounting.
  • Experience managing the month-end close process.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong prioritization and communication skills.
  • Business acumen and the ability to communicate with key stakeholders and C-level executives.

Preferred

  • Healthcare billing experience.

Our Grants Accountant will manage the accounting needs of our nonprofit clients, including financial statements, reconciliations, payroll integration, accounts payable, and other Quatrro services. This role also involves serving as a brand ambassador for Quatrro, helping to initiate, maintain, and develop client relationships as a key contact and internal liaison.
