The Truck Driver at Litman Excavating Inc is primarily responsible for operating a Tri-Axle dump truck and hauling water in support of various Oil and Gas and construction needs. Responsibilities

  • Operate a Tri-Axle dump truck.
  • Haul water in support of Oil and Gas and construction needs.
  • Haul drill cuttings and loose materials such as sand and other aggregates.
  • Navigate through various types of off-road terrain.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Fill out log books and company documentation in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle and report damage or faulty equipment promptly.
  • Wear PPE appropriately at all times.

Qualifications

Required

  • Federal DOT physical.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening and random screenings.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, with clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of truck operations mechanics.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed/required, as well as availability for call-out.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Ability to provide information to supervisor and coworkers by written, electronic communications (email and text) as well as articulate in person.
  • Basic heavy equipment knowledge.
  • Ability to lift/push 70 lbs.
  • Willingness and ability to climb in and out of truck beds as well as walking or standing for prolonged periods.
  • General DOT requirement knowledge.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience with clean driving record.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Detailed Description:

  • Hauling loose materials in a supportive role to the Oil and Gas and Construction Industry.
  • Must be able to operate trucks safely while navigating through various types of off road terrain.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle always ensuring safe transportation of cargo.
  • Knowledge and ability to fill out log books and company documentation in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
  • Properly maintain the assigned vehicle and report damage or faulty equipment promptly.
  • Wear PPE appropriately at all times.
