Surgical Solutions is seeking customer service-minded individuals with exemplary work ethic to join as Technicians, integral members of the operating room team providing surgical support and equipment for minimally invasive surgeries. The role involves assisting in daily OR operations, identifying and troubleshooting instrumentation, and providing additional support in the Sterile Processing Department.
Responsibilities
- Actively assist in daily OR operations, including duties associated with pre-operative set up, intra-operative support, and post-operative turnover.
- Identify damaged or worn instrumentation; troubleshoot malfunctioning scopes and equipment.
- Provide additional support in SPD, including decontamination, assembly, and unloading case carts.
- Understand procedures being performed, while ensuring a high level of service to staff.
- Regular, reliable, consistent job attendance; punctual and dependable.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to turn, bend, squat, kneel, reach, pull, standing for prolonged periods.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CRCST certification (provisional acceptable) is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience; ability to build and maintain strong rapport with hospital team.
- Previous OR/Sterile Processing experience preferred
- Ability to anticipate needs of others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability for 24/7 hospital coverage, including weekday, weekend, and holiday rotational scheduled and on-call shifts.
- Covid-19 vaccination required, dependent on hospital location.
