  • Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports including Data and Project Coordinators.
  • Work directly with GM and Director of Services in developing sales and marketing plans, budgets, and operational strategies.
  • Develop tailored proposals and service contracts that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted sales campaigns.
  • Update knowledge of industry trends, competitor services, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in a service-focused industry (waste industry experience a plus).
  • Proven track record in securing sales and contracts.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM software for client management and sales tracking.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely, with a willingness to travel as needed.

The Sales Manager will generate sales by making outbound sales calls to potential and current customers, and will meet face-to-face with them, and will be indirectly involved in the operational services offered. They will build strong relationships with core customers from our sister company, Toter, and focus on growing business through this network while driving outside sales across the country.
This position is a national role and has the opportunity to work remotely. Wastequip's global headquarters is in Charlotte, NC.

Salary Range: $85,000- $100,000 + Commission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The primary focus of the sales manager is to generate sales by making outbound telephone calls to current and potential customers; also fields incoming inquiries as well. Makes on-site visits to the customer’s place of business when possible and as necessary.
  • Will manage all leads generated through ContainerPros, Toter and Wastequip.
  • Builds strong business relationships with our network of customers and ensures that all customers’ needs and concerns are addressed satisfactorily and in a timely fashion.
  • Attends trade shows, and customer and industry-related functions to help promote the company’s services and brand image.
  • Serves as a communication bridge between the customer and the operations staff; resolves related issues if they arise.
