  • Ensure accuracy in patient billing and coding information.
  • Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area.

The Front Desk Coordinator Medical Assistant Hybrid serves as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors in the healthcare setting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of operations within the medical facility. The coordinator handles various administrative tasks and provides essential support to both patients and medical staff. A Medical Assistant (MA) plays a crucial role in healthcare settings by supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. MAs are trained to perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of medical facilities.


Administrative Duties:

  • Collaborate with billing and coding specialists to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims.


Requirements:

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required

Completion of a medical assisting program from an accredited institution – preferred

6 months experience working as a Medical Assistant or front desk work preferred
