As a Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide, you'll provide essential personal care and related services in the comfort of our clients' homes. You'll work under the guidance of our skilled nursing staff and the Director of Nursing, ensuring top-quality care for those who need it most.

What You’ll Need:

• English Proficiency: Must be able to read and write in English.
• Certified & Ready: Completion of a NJ state-certified CHHA course with an active CHHA certification.
• Reliable Transportation: You’ll need a dependable way to get to your client visits.
• Experience Preferred: 1 year of experience as a CHHA in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Your Role:

As a CHHA, you’ll be an essential part of our clients' daily lives. Your tasks will be guided by the care plan (POC) created by our nurses. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care and daily activities.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
• Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with mobility.
• Helping with treatments under nurse supervision.
• Encouraging independence and mental alertness.
• Providing emotional and psychological support.
• Reporting changes in the client's status to the nurse.

What You Bring:

• Communication Skills: Must be able to hear and effectively communicate in English.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stoop, bend, lift, turn, and transfer clients up to 200 pounds.
• Travel Ready: Must be able to travel to clients’ homes.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to document visits and follow the care plan meticulously.
