Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead/direct, coach and train others
  • Ability to relate well using communication, interpersonal, diplomacy, and related skills
  • Ability to objectively assist with problems involving various customer service situations
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

Preferred

  • Supervisory/management experience in a retail sales environment or similar fast paced, customer service environment
  • Furniture sales experience

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for providing support to the Store Manager with management related duties in addition to furniture sales. Serves in the Manager on Duty role as needed including opening and closing the store. When serving in this role, provides leadership and direction to floor associates and ensures that store, merchandising, and customer service standards are continuously met. Drives the customer experience and ensures resolution of customer issues.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
