Responsibilities
- Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up
- Operate the C-Arm where applicable
- Scrub-in for procedures
- Clean and sterilize tools and equipment
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures
- Assist in transporting patients within the center
Qualifications
Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- 1 year experience assisting in operating room
- Associates degree from a college accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP)
Preferred
- Experience in IR and Cath Lab

Type: 13-week contract with the option to extend
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts. 40-hours weekly. The facility is open M-F 7:30a-4:30p (end time may vary depending on the last case of the day)
EMR: Nextgen
# of Operating Rooms: 2
# of surgeries per month: 200 per month
Facility selling points: Fantastic team. No nights, no holidays, no weekends, and no on-call
Interview Process: First Round video interview with the Facility Administrator. Second round: an onsite interview with a 2-hour shadow
Essential Functions

The Surgical Technologist will prepare patients and procedure rooms for vascular access procedures, arrange instruments for interventional procedures, maintain sterile techniques within the sterile filed and clean the procedure room after each case. This is a challenging, fast-paced job with Monday to Friday schedule, NO nights no weekends, and no holiday shifts. Great work/life balance and a highly supportive team environment.
