Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
  • Minimum of two years' experience in behavioral health or case management
  • Considerable knowledge of the social, emotional, and physical processes of aging
  • Knowledge of at-risk behaviors and mitigation strategies
  • Ability to assess risk and respond appropriately to emergency situations
  • Ability to hold the confidence of consumers, caregivers, and their families

Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • Social Work License or LMHC

To that end we are seeking a Consumer Advocate to provide support to OCES consumers in accepting and retaining home care program services.

What you will do:
