  • Ensuring all program correspondence and communication (phone, fax, mail, etc) meets quality standards
  • Pharmacy triage and coordination, along with other follow-up activities (missing info, prior authorization, etc.)
  • Required to be self-motivated, working from a queue (phone or system). Expected to perform work in accordance with defined standard operating procedures. Management will monitor queues and provide active feedback as required. PSR intakes and reports adverse events as directed

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day

Position Summary:
Under the general direction of an Operations Manager, the Patient Services Representative (PSR) will work diligently with patients and providers by providing them with solutions and answering general customer service inquiries which could include insurance verification, billing inquiries, and help coordinating access to therapies through the patient’s healthcare provider. All PSRs will complete a paid, comprehensive remote training program before interacting with patients.

Positions and Salaries:

We have several job positions available with varying skill levels.

All contractors will receive a fixed, hourly starting rate while completing training. Upon successful completion of training, contractors will receive a premium, certified hourly pay rate.

  • Patient Services Representative:
  • $17.00 per hour training, $18.00 per hour after certification
  • Data Intake Specialist:
  • $15.00 per hour training, $16.00 per hour after certification
  • Benefit Verification Specialist
  • $16.00 per hour training, $18.00 per hour after certification

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Depending on the specific program contracted, duties may include one or more of the following activities:

Education and Experience Requirements:

A minimum of a High School diploma/GED is necessary, Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Certificates in Medical Coding, Medical Billing, or related fields are a plus.

The position requires broad training in fields such as customer service, computer sciences, medical billing and coding, and business administration.

Previous experience interacting with customers/clients, solving problems through troubleshooting, and creating connections is necessary. Having 2-3 years of Customer Service or Patient Services experience is HIGHLY DESIRABLE!

Remote Work Environment Criteria

  • Existing High Speed Internet access at home.
  • Quiet, noise-free home office space that is free of distraction
  • Ensure that the equipment provided to perform the work is in the designated area
  • Adhere to assigned work schedule (inclusive of lunches & breaks)
  • Make advance arrangements for dependent care to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Keep personal disruptions such as non-business telephone calls and visitors to a minimum.
  • Ensure that the home office is a safe place to work.
  • Proactively report any power outages, system or hardware issues to management team.

Must be willing to commit to a:

  • 6-9 month contract
  • Criminal background check
  • 9 panel Drug Test

Job Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day. Training schedule is 8:30-5:30 EST

Work Location: Remote, Working from Home. Must be located in the United States.
