We are seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a critical position in Alexandria, KY. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and support equipment.
  • Repair, modification, and improvement of facility and production equipment with precision techniques.
  • Utilize comprehension and troubleshooting skills relating to computer/PLC controlled equipment, motor control systems, servo motors, pumping systems, 3 phase industrial electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Complete mathematical calculations.
  • Provide corrective actions to all levels of equipment/system failures utilizing root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Fabricate and weld various types of metals (preferred).
  • Utilize the CMMS to assist in the development and execution of maintenance activities.
  • Safely perform work, including adherence to policies such as lock-out tag-out (LOTO), Arc-Flash, hot work permit, and confined space entry.
  • Work closely with Maintenance Supervisors and Planners for continuous improvement.
  • Work cooperatively in a maintenance culture focused on continuous improvement, positive morale, and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment with minimal supervision.
  • Work off shifts, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
  • Have a basic understanding of OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2 years of industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial maintenance education combined.
  • Comprehension and troubleshooting skills relating to computer/PLC controlled equipment, motor control systems, servo motors, pumping systems, 3 phase industrial electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills relating to gear reducers, chain/belt drives, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, ladder logic, conveyors, heat exchangers, pumps, piping systems, and vacuum pumps.
  • Ability to complete mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), read blueprints, ladder logic, electrical, and hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  • Ability to work in a wet, humid, cold, and hot environment.
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated area with ambient temperature of 40 degrees.
  • Ability to walk or stand on hard floors for 8-12 hour days.
  • Basic understanding of OSHA regulations.

Preferred

  • Ability to fabricate and weld various types of metals.

  • Must have comprehension and troubleshooting skills relating to computer/PLC controlled equipment, motor control systems, servo motors, pumping systems, 3 phase industrial electrical systems and mechanical systems and mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills relating to gear reducers, chain/belt drives, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, ladder logic, conveyors, heat exchangers, pumps, piping systems and vacuum pumps.
