  • Proficient in the English language
  • Demonstrated past work or vocational experience in the trades as listed in the essential job functions
  • Experience in commercial maintenance strongly preferred
  • Subject to FBI fingerprinting before hire and during employment

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - ACACC

JOB SUMMARY: This position is expected to perform preventative, corrective and general maintenance duties at the Adams County Adult Corrections Complex including but not limited to daily inspections of the boiler system, basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills and repairs, welding, painting, basic upkeep of generators, hydraulic and small engine repair, and maintain chemical accountability and inventory. This position may need to assist with mowing and snow removal if needed and monitor community re-entry participants. *This position must comply with the on-call policy.


Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Valid driver’s license
  3. Proficient in the English language
  4. Demonstrated past work or vocational experience in the trades as listed in the essential job functions
  5. Experience in commercial maintenance strongly preferred.
  6. This position is subject to FBI fingerprinting before hire and during employment
