As a Digital Press Operator at Avance Consulting, you will be responsible for producing high-quality printed roll labels in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate an ABG Digicon or Grafotronics per SOPs and work instructions.
- Die cut, varnish, coat, laminate, slit, and count roll label material to meet customer needs.
- Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
- Learn to troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up.
- Identify and document quality problems.
- Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks.
- Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.
Qualifications
Required
- Preferably 2 years of digital, offset, flexo press experience or other experience operating machinery.
- Some experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
- Positive attitude, coachable, willingness to learn.
- Excellent attendance.
- Flexibility to work Overtime. Work in a fast-paced environment with ability to deal with change.
- High school diploma or GED
- Light math and ruler skills.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work at a computer for extended periods of time and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.

As an employee owner in this position, you will produce printed roll labels to meet on time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance with all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
In this role, you will…
Set up and operate an ABG Digicon or Grafotronics per SOPs and work instructions.
Die cut, varnish, coat, laminate, slit, and count roll label material to meet customer needs.
Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
Learn to troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up.
