The Facilities Maintenance Associate at FR Conversion Vans is responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of the facility through the use of best business practices. This role involves maintaining resources, services, and processes to create a safe and effective environment for employees. Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage services central to the facility such as reception, security, cleaning, waste disposal, parking, etc.
  • Conduct and document regular inspections of the facility.
  • Manage contractor and vendor relationships.
  • Oversee environmental health and safety.
  • Ensure security of the facility.
  • Manage facility energy management and recommend efficiency measures.
  • Respond to facility/equipment alarms and system failures.
  • Provide prompt response to requests/issues from staff in the facility.
  • Manage repairs and monitor performance of machinery.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory, ordering parts/items as necessary.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1-3 years experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or hydraulics maintenance
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards/industry codes
  • Experience conducting facility inspections
  • Experience with obtaining quotes from vendors/suppliers
  • Willingness to be available after-hours for urgent/emergency situations
  • Ability to individually lift 50-100 pounds
  • Physical ability to work full day lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling in a non-environmentally controlled work environment in a loud work environment
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License

Job Category:Hourly, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Job Requirements

  • Must have 1-3 years experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or hydraulics maintenance.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards/industry codes.
  • Experience conducting facility inspections.
  • Ideally has experience with obtaining quotes from vendors/suppliers.
  • Willingness to be available after-hours, if required, for urgent/emergency situations.
  • Ability to individually lift 50-100 pounds.

Salary & Compensation:The Facilities Associate position is a full-time hourly position with approximate pay dependent upon qualifications and experience.All salary and compensation packages at FR Conversions are subject to applicable labor laws, FR Conversions standard company policies, and payroll law including taxes and withholdings.

Job Categorization:The Facilities Associate position is a full-time, hourly, FLSA non-exempt position. (SOC Code - 49-9071).

This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position.

A Safety Sensitive position at FR Conversions is subject to post-offer and random drug/alcohol screenings.

All positions at FR Conversions are subject to at cause and post-incident drug/alcohol screenings.
