ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development of tools and processes for requirements management within the System Design and Mission Assurance (SDMA) organization.   • Develop and maintain tools to streamline and automate requirement development tasks, including statusing, baselining, establishing traceability, and managing changes
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to illustrate progress against targets and highlight focus areas

Qualifications

Required

  • BS degree in a relevant engineering field
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing requirements
  • Experience with Python for automation of tasks and interfacing with commercial tools via APIs
  • Experience designing and developing automated dashboards using data visualization tools such as Grafana or Looker to monitor operational metrics
  • Familiarity with a typical functional safety lifecycle
  • Excellent EQ with an empathetic communication style that fosters connection, collaboration and motivation

Preferred

  • Experience in the automotive industry or the autonomous driving technology industry
  • Working experience with safety-critical systems, applying industry safety standards such as MIL-STD-882, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ARP4754, etc.

Alten's partner is on an ambitious journey to develop a full-stack autonomous mobility solution for cities and safely deploy such a robotaxi solution. Alten's partner's System Design and Mission Assurance (SDMA) team constructs the Safety Case and validates that our vehicles are safe enough to be deployed for autonomous driving. SDMA enables Alten's partner to rapidly iterate and safely expand capabilities through trustworthy, innovative, and pragmatic safety engineering. We are looking for an engineer to support the development of the tools and process for requirements management within the SDMA organization.
In this role, you will:

Salary Range: $82,000 - $118,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
