Evolver Federal is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of task order performance, including staffing, project management, procurement, quality assurance, document and information management, and facilities management. The role involves leading innovation and continuous improvements, coordinating across teams, and assisting the government client in strategic planning to address current operations and future challenges. This position requires onsite work two days a week in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single management focal point and responsible for the execution of the project.
  • Build and maintain a strategic enterprise partner relationship with leadership.
  • Apprise the leadership of all significant issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide strategic guidance, vision, and direction to the project team.
  • Ensure program integration across task areas, groups, and functional/technical teams and delegate administrative, financial, and coordination duties as necessary.
  • Utilize innovative processes to plan, organize, and control activities, manage risks, and monitor performance.
  • Ensure all task areas meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
  • Analyze significant deviations from the plan, take corrective actions, and forecast any impact on contract deliverables.
  • Oversee definition of and adherence to standard processes.
  • Oversee staffing process, including staff need forecasting.
  • Oversee staff performance, plan development, career growth, and appraisal process.

Qualifications

Required

  • MBA or MS/MA degree in Management, Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related Technical Discipline. In absence of a Master's degree, 15 years of directly relatable experience is considered.
  • PMP certification or comparable/equivalent substitutions required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with at least five years as a Program or Project Manager for large (over $20M) contracts, complex major systems development, acquisitions, and/or systems engineering and integration efforts.
  • Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in systems design, cybersecurity, software development, and web technologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance

Preferred

  • 13 years of experience with at least six years as a Program or Project Manager for large (over $20M) contracts, complex major systems development, acquisitions, and/or systems engineering and integration efforts.

Evolver Federal is seeking a Project Manager to satisfy a requirement for a potential government client.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will serve as the management focal point on this individual project and will be responsible for the full execution of the project.

The Project Manager will be responsible for

  • The construction and maintenance of a strategic partner relationship with all leadership on the project. As issues and circumstances arise.
  • Notifying all leadership of significant issues, in a timely manner.
  • Providing a strategic vision and direction to the project team members and must ensure that all tasks asked of the project are fully executed in ways that meet schedule, cost, quality, and performance requirements.
  • The delegation of all administrative, coordination, and financial duties, as deemed necessary.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance and progress of the team. In doing so, the PM must lead effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across functional and technical teams.
  • Overseeing all operations, and should there be any significant derailments from instruction, the PM must take corrective action and mitigate any future deviations.
  • Overseeing the adherence to all standard processes, staffing procedures, and staff performance.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Active Secret Clearance
  • MBA or MS/MA degree Management, Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related Technical Discipline. In absence of a Master's degree, 15 years of related experience may be considered
  • PMP Certification, or a comparable substitution
  • 12 years of experience as a Program or Project manager for contracts, system development, acquisitions, or systems engineering and integration efforts over $20M

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven technical background in systems design, cybersecurity, software development and web technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; client facing and internal
  • Proven multitasking abilities with great attention to detail
