EDGE Building Services is seeking a Special Services/Floor Technician to provide carpet cleaning services and floor care/maintenance on various surfaces. Responsibilities
- Provide carpet cleaning services utilizing methods such as Encapsulation, Extraction, Bonneting, etc.
- Provide floor care/maintenance on surfaces including Ceramic Tile/Grout, Concrete, Flagstone, Granite, Laminate, Marble, Travertine, and VCT.
- Utilize care/maintenance methods including Buffing, Cleaning, Polishing, Scrubbing, Sealing, Stripping, Sealing, Vacuuming, and Waxing.
- Additional project work including Pre/Post-Construction clean-up, Vacancy cleaning, and Interior/Exterior glass cleaning.
Qualifications
Required
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Flexibility to respond to emergencies at night time and on weekends
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures
Preferred
- Previous janitorial experience with emphasis on carpet/floor maintenance
- Team-player approach
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with established priorities, work independently and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

o Cleaning

o Scrubbing
o Sealing
o Stripping
o Sealing
o Vacuuming

· Additional project work including but not limited to:

Skill Set / Qualifications
· Previous janitorial experience with emphasis on carpet/floor maintenance preferred
· Dedication to providing premier janitorial services in a professional and consistent manner at all times
· Able to work in a fast paced environment with established priorities, work independently and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision – all while maintaining attention to detail
· Exhibit a team-player approach to all services/projects
