- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel-powered vehicles, including trucks, buses, and heavy equipment

- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts, such as filters, belts, and hoses
- Test and adjust systems to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with other team members, including drivers and supervisors, to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or degree in diesel mechanics preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
