Responsibilities

  • Corrects any observed unsafe practice or hazardous condition.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat.
  • Prepares the outbound UPS, FedEx, and common carrier shipments including the packaging of the goods.
  • Receives inbound shipments and locates the goods in the appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Visually inspects all shipments prior to signing the delivery documents.
  • Assists in loading and unloading trucks and containers utilizing pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Verifies material received or to be shipped and the quantity of each material.
  • Transports and locates received components to the appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Handles pick tickets/orders and pull those items from warehouse inventory.
  • Physically picks warehouse items by the stated number, size, color, quantity, quality, etc.
  • Participate in conducting warehouse inventory counts as required.
  • Ability to handle detail-oriented work to insure proper items and quantities are picked to provide production dept.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education requirement.
  • Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Reliable attendance and work performance.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.

Job description

Seko Dosing Systems Corp. is seeking a warehouse associate to join the team.

SEKO is a world-renowned manufacturer of dosing pumps and metering systems with over 40 years’ experience. From systems designed to deliver hygiene and surface cleaning to treatment of water for human consumption, or for use in cooling towers, swimming pools and in myriad industrial processes, SEKO delivers solutions tailored to meet any given need thanks to its specialization in the design and manufacture of solenoid and motor driven dosing pumps, along with measurement and analysis systems.

Opportunity available is for the 8:00am – 5:00pm shift, Monday through Friday in Tullytown, PA

Qualifications:

  • Basic computer knowledge (MUST)
  • Warehouse, 1 year (Preferred)
  • Forklift Certified (Plus)

Work Environment / Conditions:

  • Ensures a safe work environment throughout the facility. Corrects any observed unsafe practice or hazardous condition.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat. Always organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness.
  • Prepares the outbound UPS, FedEx, and common carrier shipments including the packaging of the goods that includes labeling the cartons and affixing the packing slip. Ensures the accuracy of each order prior to sealing and labeling the cartons.
  • Receives inbound shipments and locates the goods in the appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Visually inspects all shipments prior to signing the delivery documents.
  • Assists in loading and unloading trucks and containers utilizing pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Verifies material received or to be shipped and the quantity of each material.
  • Transports and locates received components to the appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Handles pick tickets/orders and pull those items from warehouse inventory with speed and accuracy.
  • Physically picks warehouse items by the stated number, size, color, quantity, quality, etc. requirements.
  • Participate in conducting warehouse inventory counts as required.
  • Ability to handle detail-oriented work to insure proper items and quantities are picked to provide production dept.
  • Previous industrial distribution experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to focus on details, recall/retain information/Count properly
  • Ability to comprehend and express oral and written communication
  • Ability to focus on work details for a period of time within an environment of occasional audio and visual distractions, mildly fluctuating temperatures and workspaces
  • Ability to effectively handle goods, use tools, move materials, use operating equipment or machinery, etc.
  • Ability to stand while working
  • Ability to coordinate 2 or more limbs while standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, squatting, etc.
  • Ability to use hands, fingers, legs, feet, in a repetitious motion
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to see details at a close range
  • Ability to match or detect differences between colors
  • Normal range of motion and good manual dexterity are necessary for this job.
