Position Overview

Program Manager is responsible for driving process improvement initiatives that align with organizational objectives, building and leading a high-performing team, and managing key stakeholder relationships. This leader will analyze and redesign processes using data-driven methods, such as root cause analysis and process mapping, to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and effectiveness. They will establish KPIs, monitor performance, and provide reporting on improvement outcomes. Additionally, the role involves managing change by addressing resistance, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Expertise in government processes and Salesforce workflow mapping and design is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive process improvement strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of process improvement professionals.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis, audits, and stakeholder feedback.
• Create detailed process maps to visualize current workflows and identify areas for optimization.
• Conduct root cause analyses to determine the underlying causes of process inefficiencies or defects.
• Develop and implement new or improved processes that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor process performance and identify trends.
• Prepare regular reports on process performance, improvement initiatives, and results achieved.
• Develop strategies to address resistance to change and facilitate adoption of new processes.
• Create and execute communication plans to inform stakeholders about process changes and their benefits.
• Provide training and support to employees affected by process changes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization.
• Encourage employee involvement in process improvement initiatives.
• Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
• Evaluate and select appropriate process improvement tools and technologies.
• Implement and manage process improvement tools and systems.
• Ensure data integrity and security.

Required Skills and Experience

This position requires extensive experience in government processes and expertise in workflow mapping and design using Salesforce.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
