Engagement Description – This position requires the ability to multitask within a high-volume concierge contact center setting.
The pharmacy technician will assist in providing pharmacy services. Other related skills may be required to perform this job.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Two years pharmacy experience working under a license pharmacist or completion of certified pharmacy technical program. Working knowledge of third-party claims process. Please see job description for a more thorough listing of requirements for this position.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience –
•Ability to process Coverage Determination Requests within CMS Timeframes.
•Ability to communicate all pharmacy benefits both verbally and written.
•Ability to have strong attention to detail while multitasking within a high demand environment.
Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:
•Minimum 2 years of experience in Pharmacy Retail, PBM, Hospital, Managed Care
• Experience with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
•Knowledge of prescription drug names, therapeutic classes and claims processing
•Knowledge of Privacy Regulations
•Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
• Medicare Part D Experience
• Contact Center Experience
• Knowledge of CMS/NCQA regulations
• Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing
Education/Certifications – Include:
• High School Diploma
•2 years of college preferred
