The Maintenance Technician at Nandail Property Management is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment to ensure continuous plant operations and production requirements. Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment to ensure continuous plant operations and production requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, circuits, mechanical and pneumatic components, and systems.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to all manufacturing and facility equipment and systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities on production, processing, and plant equipment and systems.
  • Follow directions and work unsupervised at times.
  • Operate equipment including forklift, boom lift, and scissor lift.
  • Accurately fill out all required paperwork.
  • Work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and shift flexibility.
  • Operate equipment and work safely, following all GMP guidelines and keeping work area clean.
  • Participate in meetings and train others.
  • Fill in for other positions as necessary.
  • Assist in creating a culture of safety and health by performing work safely and reporting any unsafe work conditions or practices to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Required

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • High School or GED required.
  • Able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Must have own hand tools to perform all job duties.

Preferred

  • Technical Certificate or Associate degree in a relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AC and DC electrical theory and functional understanding of 3-phase motor control circuits (not mandatory).
  • Demonstrated ability and understanding of Allen Bradley PLCs, remote sensor interfaces, HMI, VFDs, and other automated controls and ability to troubleshoot same.

ABILITY /EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES-
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • High School or GED required, Technical Certificate or Associate degree preferred (Not Mandatory)
  • Able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Must have own hand tools to perform all job duties
  • Wage depends on experience.
