Qualifications

Required

  • High School diploma.
  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience preferably in food packaging, process, and/or food safety and security.
  • Previous supervisory experience/leadership experience preferred.
  • Must be PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office, and Outlook.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in operations, technical, business or engineering.

Job Description

With leadership from immediate supervisor, this position is responsible for the safe and effective use of all people in meeting customer expectations. Safety, sanitation, housekeeping, GMP standards, problem solving ability as well as good employee relations are considered key elements to success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to position.

  3. Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies

Additional Information

Physical: Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time while performing job duties. Must be capable of working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling; able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and must be able to wear a respirator.

Mental/Reasoning:Must be able to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment failures.
