  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Software Architects in the design of application and cloud architecture.
  • Manage development and production infrastructure including servers, networking, and storage components.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Lead and manage the corporate IT infrastructure team, ensuring efficient operation and support of all internal systems and software.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a related role.
  • Minimum 5 years commercial experience utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and supporting SOC 2 compliance and adoption and enforcement of necessary controls.
  • Knowledge in: AWS

This role involves leading a team of technical professionals, managing key technology vendors, ensuring operational efficiency, driving innovation, and aligning technical strategies with the overall business objectives.

  • Working with CTO and CFO, develop and manage the Corporate IT budget, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Software Architects in the design of application and cloud architecture.
  • Manage development and production infrastructure including servers, networking, and storage components.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, including traditional server applications and serverless services such as AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, AWS SQS, and Amazon API Gateway.
  • Experience with Amazon RDS, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, servers, storage systems, cloud technologies, and infrastructure automation tools and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and supporting SOC 2 compliance and adoption and enforcement of necessary controls.
  • Proficiency in IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management (ITOM) frameworks.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT as they relate to IT infrastructure.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead large-scale IT projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience administering standard tool stack, including Jira, Google Workspace, Confluence, Zoom, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Crowdstrike.
  • Experience supporting end users in a fully remote workforce.
