Salary:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support to HutchCC students, faculty, and staff. Junior and Senior designations will be applied to the job title where appropriate to skill level and experience.
Essential:
- Enter and update tickets in the ITS support call processing system.
- Act as part of the ITS support team.
- Help maintain HutchCC information systems.
- Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
- Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
Secondary:
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Technical Support Manger.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong customer service and communication skills required.
- Information technology support experience preferred.
- Phone support experience and troubleshooting skills are preferred.
- Energetic, self-motivated personality is preferred.
- Experience with a variety of web browsers required.
- Preference given to applicants with Windows, Mac, and OpenVMS experience.
- Physical activities will include lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling, carrying, etc.; visual acuity to view a computer terminal; use appropriate judgment and apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; ability to understand words and respond effectively and appropriately. Heavy, indoor/outdoor work environment.

HOURLY WAGE and STATUS:
The hourly rate of pay is commensurate with qualifications as determined by HutchCC administration. This full-time support staff position is 12 months annual, benefit eligible, at-will, and non-exempt.
