Medical Assistant

We are seeking Medical Assistants to become part of our team for both full-time and part-time positions.

Are you passionate about healthcare and ready to make a difference in patients' lives? Our Allergy Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our compassionate team! Candidate should be comfortable doing both front and back office tasks. Training will be provided by both physician and staff members. Candidate needs to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, responsible, and computer savvy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient intake and medical history
• Take vital signs, document them in the EMR, and prepare patients for exams
• Assist in answering phones and scheduling patient appointments
• Administer allergy tests, perform injections under provider supervision, perform breathing tests, and assist with procedures
• Manage EMR patient records and update health information
• Provide patient education and support
• Assist in answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, and verify insurance coverage
• Assist with office tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting (allergy experience a plus but not necessary)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Good ability to work in a team
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of EMR, Word, Excel, Adobe

Training will be provided by both physician and staff members.
