The Registered Nurse will play a key role in coordinating care within the Women's Heart Program. Responsibilities include scheduling diagnostic tests and imaging studies, conducting patient screenings in the clinic, and ensuring a smooth, well-organized care experience.
-This role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
-The RN will maintain consistent communication with patients, providing education, addressing questions, and supporting them throughout their treatment journey.
This position offers flexibility, with the option of a four-day workweek or a five-day, 36-hour schedule.

**Responsibilities**
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
+ Implement and monitor patient care plans.
+ Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
+ Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
+ Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
+ Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
